Full of charm and history, Campo de 'Fiori is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It has a double soul: in the morning it is a popular market where the voices of the Romans who sell fruit and vegetables resound; in the evening and at night it is a lively square, enlivened especially by tourists, attracted by the cafes that surround the square.

The boys and girls sit on the steps under the statue of Giordano Bruno that dominates Campo de 'Fiori with his stern gaze. The current market of Campo de 'Fiori already existed in the fifteenth century and was home to inns for pilgrims and merchants, as well as the home of courtesans. Here came the peasants from the surrounding hills, the vignaroles with baskets full of fruit and vegetables.
